By analyzing solutions to the master equations of the reduced density matrix, we give general conditions on when the presence of a second transport channel in the bias window quenches transport through the quantum dot. These conditions are in terms of distinct tunneling anisotropies which may aid in explaining the occurrence of negative differential conductance in quantum dots in the nonlinear regime. 2008 American Institute of Physics.Item Open Access Resonant regimes in the Fock-space coherence of multilevel quantum dots(2012-12) Vaz, Eduardo; Kyriakidis, JordanNo abstract available.Item Open Access Macroscopic quantum tunneling of ferromagnetic domain walls(1997-10) Braun, HB; Kyriakidis, J.; Loss, D.No abstract available.Item Open Access Persistent currents and dissipation in narrow bilayer quantum Hall bars(2001-11) Kyriakidis, J.; Radzihovsky, L.No abstract available.Item Open Access Voltage-tunable singlet-triplet transition in lateral quantum dots(2002-07) Kyriakidis, J.; Pioro-Ladriere, M.; Ciorga, M.; Sachrajda, AS; Hawrylak, P.No abstract available.Item Open Access Coherent rotations of a single spin-based qubit in a single quantum dot at fixed Zeeman energy(2005-03) Kyriakidis, J.; Penney, SJNo abstract available.
