dc.description.abstract | This SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grant project used the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach to comprehensively synthesize the current knowledge of climate change and climate-induced disaster-driven impacts within the natural-built-social-environment triangulation of rural and remote communities in order to further identify the shifting assets and challenges faced by these communities. The final analysis included a total of 308 English-language publications. Using mixed methods–univariate analysis and thematic inquiry–the research team identified the findings and synthesized the results into actionable recommendations for future policy, practice, and research. | en_US |
